In a sea of bottomless content, clarity and candor is a great way to get results.
For their Giving Day 2023 fundraising campaign, The University of Chicago wanted to take a more direct approach with their flagship promotional video. Their internal team provided us with the campaign’s theme and a set of objectives to touch on in the video, we tied all of that together into a script, and student volunteers performed each line on-screen in different locations across campus.
The final product stands in fairly sharp contrast from the video we produced for them in 2022; the direction is quick and punchy with pops of playful humor, and the messaging is vividly straightforward.
